The 2026 Westfield Health British Transplant Games will be coming to Sheffield in August 2026. The event will be organised by Sheffield based events company, MLS, on behalf of the charity Transplant Active. The Games attract 3000 participants comprising athletes who have received live saving organs or stem cell transplants, their donors, their support staff, siblings and medical teams. The Games comprise 24 different sports in 4 days and promote the benefits of organ donation and transplantation to demonstrate the importance of living well with your transplant, but also highlighting that people die daily waiting for a transplant.
